Contempt
06:23
|
|
||
A pestiferous lesion endlessly draining
as mouths open and close.
Its runoff nourishes
this world, devoid of reason.
Imbibing toxicity,
the bile sustains.
Wagging tongues drip with desperation,
as they attempt to form words of absolution
Hymns of feckless cowards.
The bile sustains.
The bile sustains my indignation.
The abscess is drained.
Its venomous nectar
has found its new home within me.
The bile sustains
Tiring fatalism
consumes all that surrounds me.
The illusory skein unravels
though they choose not to see.
I resist the urge to give in,
but I am too weak
The abscess is drained.
Its venomous nectar
has found its new home.
Within me, the bile is sustained.
An incessant drone
compels me towards contempt.

Respite
06:28
|
|
||
I am paralyzed by a sensation,
a cacophonous drone that eternally echoes,
spewing gloom and malice.
Capricious in its nature, I turn inward
delving into an introspective stupor.
I should not waste my time and breath
contemplating the inadequacies of
a frail human form.
A contemptuous manifestation,
an insignificant apparition.
My eyes ache as I force them
open to see, to see the light.
Consumed by inescapable dread.
I feel cold.
I feel cold.
I am drowning.
Lies pour forth through gritted teeth,
crying “One. One more day.”
In lucid dreams, I hear voices beckoning me,
“One more day.”
Lies pour forth through gritted teeth,
They cry out to me “One more. One more day.”
In lucid dreams, I hear the voices,
they’re beckoning me.
“One more day.”
The night is deep and I am drowning.
in an infinite sea of nothingness.
A man's spirit dies, the body falls.
In death, his soul is free to roam.
Never to be found, he walks freely.
Never to be found, he walks freely.
In silent indignation, I whisper in repeat;
Respite shall never come.
Respite shall never come.
I see nothing.
I hear nothing.
I feel nothing.
I am nothing.
Lies pour forth through gritted teeth;
Crying “One more. One more day.”
In lucid dreams, I hear voices beckoning me;
“One more. One more day”
A contemptuous manifestation,
an insignificant apparition
My eyes ache as I force them
open to see (to see) the light
Consumed by inescapable dread,
I feel cold.
I feel cold.
I feel cold.
I am naught.

Relent
07:08
|
|
||
My eyes turn to an endless ocean of self-loathing,
waves of avarice crashing into the shore.
Eternal stone gives way to endless floods
that strip off and carry away
the lightness of your purity.
Blighted eyes sink into the murky depths.
They have taken everything
and left only tepid pools of rot.
I feel the pull of the unseen,
guiding me into the maelstrom.
I accept their gesture, I let them in.
My will to resist has long since waned.
I accept their invitation and relent.
Submerged in whirling pools of malcontent,
I inhale, filling my lungs.
Rapturous applause erupts from the depths
I accept their invitation and relent.
I inhale, filling my lungs.
As I accept the offering of the abyss,
I close my eyes.
I am free.

Wretched
07:35
|
|
||
Vanish, be gone, wretched fiend.
Be gone, wretched fiend.
Vanish, be gone, wretched fiend.
Vanish, be gone, you who would seek.
Vanish, be gone, wretched fiend.
Vanish, be gone, you who would seek
to corrupt my essence and consume me.
I renounce you.
Fade into the shadows and be forgotten, vile specter.
Take with you the sick perversions that have plagued my soul.
I no longer wish to inhabit this form.
Send me home to the abyss.
The silence will soon reclaim me.
Send me home to the abyss.
Ravenous eyes seek only sustenance;
to curb the unyielding appetite.
A voracious parasite lingers in the darkness
eager to devour what has yet to spoil.
The beast has prevailed over the recreant.
His clamorous screams will fade.
An oppressive absence ensues.
Turn from the wretched light.
An oppressive absence ensues.
Turn from the light.
